! Juvenile Street Violence

It seems in today's society, people are becoming de-sentized to violence. Our group will be taking a look at juvenile street violence spilling over into schools and its change over the past one hundred years. Our group decided to focus on juvenile street violence because of the recent focus on juvenile offenders and the effect it has had on society’s outlook on adolescents. Society definitely has a clear “fear of crime” when it comes to juvenile offenders and the anti-social behaviors that they exhibit on the streets. There is also the fear the juvenile offender will “grow up” to be a career criminal instead of being deterred from committing any other crimes early on in their life.
